hahaha omg

  • Stage diagram by act done for the Light Opera's production of Hansel and Gretel.
  • Responded to Bluebird e-mail. Finally.
  • Voice is back. Mostly. Still gets hoarse with overuse (am supposed to be on relative voice rest, lawlz).
  • Polished up Dear Forbidden etc. (and still think it sucks. this might be due to the fact, however, that it's taken up all my guitar time for the past two months. or it could just suck.) and wrote another - tentative "In Brislau."
  • Have discovered a new obsession with WWII Europe. fuck.
  • Have discovered that it's impossible for my mind to wrap itself around the concept of writing a song that isn't capo'd. ffffffuck.

Also - classes!

Engineering Physics I (3) - Instructor TBA [MW 1:00p-2:20p]
Engineering Physics I Lab (1) - Instructor TBA [W 2:30p-4:20p]
Intro to Engineering (3) - Instructor TBA [MW 5:30p-7:10p]
Piano Private Instruction (2) - L. Dean [TBA]

Grand Total: 13 credits CAN I NEVER AVOID THE PRIME NUMBERS

Thank God I have an extremely cool and amazingly forgiving boss. I feel bad about only doing a half-day on Wednesday, but those are the only available times I could get to avoid having to drive to La Plata three times a week (only once; har).

i'm going to be shitting integrals

Current Mood: busy

I don't have it myself, but I do find HA's story incredible. Sucks that a lot of his research was lost in the bombing.

Sometimes I wish I had Asperger's or was another form of autistic savant so I could have talent at something. :P

YES, thank god I'm not the only person with this problem. Higher pitches, bitches. (Though I guess we could tune our guitars down to the point where, if we capo'd the first fret, it'd sound like a normal un-capo, thus removing said mental block. Or if we forgot to capo, the Touch Artists could inadvertently become a gnarly sludge-metal band.)

Mannnn, your schedule sounds kind of not-easy. TOO MUCH ENGINEERING. Stupid, like, majors and stuff. But at least I've heard, painful-sounding integral shitting notwithstanding, calc 3 is notably easier than calc 2. At least 'round these parts it's s'posed ta be.

Just for comic effect, let's compare my spring classes with yours. Oh yes.
-- Developmental Psych
-- Psych Research Techniques
-- Later Shakespeare
-- Banned Books
-- The Science of "The Simpsons"

You do realize that the closest thing we have to a class in common is called The Science of "The Simpsons". And yes, it is what it sounds like.

Also: I got your message today. I shot Mr. Adam a Facebook message just to ensure we're all on the same page regarding That Night. Once confirmation comes, life will be good and stuff. 28 days. That's, like, four weeks. dkfjfkjghjkh

I was talking about it with my theory teacher, and she was like, "you must relinquish the capo" and I'm like "noooo" but then she was all "dooo iiiit" so now I have to readjust my positioning (which was apparently godawful to begin with) in order to accommodate.

LONG NON-PUNCTUATED SENTENCES FTW.

Or if we forgot to capo, the Touch Artists could inadvertently become a gnarly sludge-metal band.

Don't. Tempt me. Aahaha.

Regarding my classes, I'm a little anxious. A lot of my classes last summer were online, and I was able to do some of them in the middle of the night and on my own time. Now, only one of my classes is online, and I don't know how well I'm going to be able to adjust to the strict study schedule. Meh. I'm actually looking forward to Calc III though because everything's in three-space, and I've already done a lot of stuff with vectors et al in Linear. I loved Linear.

*pause to reflect*

I am such a nerd.

I'm envious of the Simpsons class, though. You have to tell me what, exactly, is the science of the Simpsons. I'm perhaps more curious than I should be.

Seriously, we don't have any classes like that at all. Of course, it's a community college, so it's a skeleton curriculum to get you through the first two years, anyway.

Also: I think what we've established thus far is that we will be doing something on December 31st. YES. lolol specificity is for lusers.

O BTW: 27 days! Ha!
